We work within North Wales, Cheshire, North West of England and Shropshire. Our work covers private, commercial, local Council authority (sensory disabled gardens) and Industrial commissions. We have also designed and built two show gardens at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show winning medals on both occasions. Gardens by Design Ltd has been established for 23 years. References can also be requested from our previous clients if required.

All of our tasks are completed by fully qualified tradesmen.

Initial consultation

This consists of an assessment of your existing garden, and the completion with your assistance of a detailed questionnaire.

Surveying

Measuring the site, to record existing features, plants or trees, indicated boundaries and slopes.

Soil Testing

To determine the type of soil. Acid, Alkaline or Neutral. The outcome will give an indication of the type of plants that will be appropriate in your garden.

Design / Colour Plan

This consists of a full design and layout plan. A colour drawing to indicate all the features both hard and soft landscaping. This will include the planting of which a detailed list can be supplied upon request

Construction

We offer a full construction service to Include groundworks, waste removal, hard landscaping, Installation of lighting systems, water features, joinery and the aquisition of all the plant material as stated on the specified plant list.

Maintenance Service

We offer a full garden maintenance service. It can be tailored to your individually requirements. In some case it could include up to three visits per year. Tasks could include pruning, feeding of shrubs, weeding, mulching, cutting hedges the repair and maintenance of lawns and the general upkeep of paved areas.
